Chroma AI
An AI-powered design tool that generates beautiful, accessible color palettes from a text prompt, an image, or a single color.

The Problem
Finding the right color palette is a common roadblock in design. Traditional tools often feel uninspired or require a deep understanding of color theory, making it hard to translate a creative vision—like 'a cyberpunk city at dusk'—into a functional and accessible color scheme.
The Solution
Chroma AI bridges the gap between imagination and execution. Using Google's Gemini model via the Genkit framework, it intelligently interprets text prompts, images, or seed colors to produce unique 5-color palettes. The app offers two modes: 'AI Magic' for creative exploration and 'Color Theory' for classic schemes like complementary or triadic. The front-end, built with Next.js and ShadCN UI, provides an interactive workspace where you can instantly preview the palette on a sample UI, check WCAG accessibility contrast ratios, and copy color values in multiple formats.
The Outcome
The result is a tool that supercharges the creative workflow. It empowers designers and developers to quickly generate and validate color schemes, complete with AI-powered analysis of color psychology and real-time accessibility feedback. The polished front-end, animated with Framer Motion, demonstrates a strong command of both AI integration and modern user interface design.
